A Tragic Disappearance

On July 21, 1960, the small community of Alamogordo, New Mexico, was shaken by the sudden abduction of 4-year-old Sharon Lee Gallegos. While playing with her cousins in an alley behind her grandmother's house, Sharon was approached by a man and a woman in a dark green sedan. Despite her refusal, the woman forcibly dragged Sharon into the vehicle, which then sped away.
