On May 10, 2020, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic deaths of two individuals in the Iroquois neighborhood. Among them was 28-year-old Shakeria Abrill Blakemore, whose untimely passing remains an unsolved case, leaving a void in her community and family.
The Incident
Around 12:45 p.m. on that fateful Sunday, Louisville Metro Police Department's Third Division officers responded to a shooting call in the 5300 block of Halsey Court.
