Born on October 4, 1996, Robert was a 23-year-old African American man whose life was abruptly ended, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and community. Described as polite, personable, and possessing a contagious smile, Robert had an innate ability to make those around him feel special. The Fateful Evening
Details surrounding the events leading up to Robert's death remain scarce. What is known is that on that fateful evening, Robert was involved in a shooting incident near the intersection of South 25th Street and Woodland Avenue in Louisville's West End.
