On July 12, 2017, a tragic incident unfolded on Indianapolis' northeast side, claiming the lives of two young men. Among them was 27-year-old John Easley, whose untimely death remains an unsolved mystery, reflecting the broader challenges of addressing violent crime in urban communities.

The Incident

At approximately 11:30 a.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of East 30th Street and Caroline Avenue.
