Discovery of a Grisly Scene
In the early hours of August 16, 1994, fishermen near the Las Vegas Boat Harbor at Lake Mead made a horrifying discovery. A metal trash can was found floating in the lake, and upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be attached to the lifeless body of 24-year-old Christopher Scott Huffman. The young man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, indicating a violent end. This gruesome find marked the beginning of a complex and, to this day, unsolved murder investigation.
A Brief Life Cut Short
Born on December 6, 1969, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Christopher was adopted by Robert Huffman at a young age. He spent much of his life in Henderson, Nevada, where he worked in various Las Vegas casinos. Despite a troubled past, Christopher was known to have enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
