On February 8, 2020, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic death of 22-year-old Andrew Tyler Ragland. Born on April 23, 1997, Andrew was known for his passion for sports, particularly his love for University of Louisville basketball and the Green Bay Packers. Described as a caring and hardworking individual, he enjoyed shooting pool, playing basketball, and cherishing moments with friends and family. His untimely death left a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
The Fateful Night
In the early hours of February 8, 2020, Louisville Metro Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2400 block of Marguerite Drive in the Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP) neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered Andrew Ragland suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
