Discovery of the Crime Scene
On June 6, 2006, the Mesa Police Department responded to a distressing call in the 900 block of South Dobson Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless bodies of 25-year-old Rondell Echoles and 27-year-old Tyrone Phillips inside an apartment. Both men had been fatally attacked, marking the beginning of a complex investigation that remains unresolved to this day.

In the immediate aftermath, detectives conducted thorough examinations of the crime scene, collecting physical evidence and interviewing potential witnesses.
