A Tragic Night in Southeast D.C.
On the evening of Sunday, September 24, 2006, the tranquility of the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast Washington, D.C., was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 11:15 p.m., two men, Curtis Watkins and Andre "Buckethead" Pee, were fatally shot in a brutal double homicide that remains unsolved to this day.
