A Gruesome Discovery on Harding Street
On March 24, 2015, the city of Indianapolis was shaken by a horrific crime that left four individuals dead in a residence on the 3100 block of North Harding Street. The victims—41-year-old Terri Betties, her 18-year-old son Davon Whitlock, their cousin 32-year-old Tiara Turner, and family friend 48-year-old Sherry Taylor—were found shot multiple times in the front room of the home. The gruesome scene was discovered by the homeowner, who immediately alerted authorities.
Initial Investigation and Community Shock
The initial investigation revealed that the home had been ransacked, with televisions toppled over and signs of forced entry.
