On December 13, 2017, the Louisville community was shaken by the tragic loss of Omar Alejandro Rebozo-Hibirma, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, who was murdered at 9912 Shirewick Way. This incident not only ended a young life full of potential but also left a void in the hearts of family, friends, and neighbors.
The Fateful Night
Late that evening, at approximately 11:23 p.m., Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 9900 block of Shirewick Way near Ashby Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. All victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment.
