Born on March 6, 1980, in New London, Erika was a 1998 graduate of Norwich Free Academy and a devoted mother to two young sons, Brandon and Destin. Despite facing personal challenges, including struggles with substance abuse, Erika remained closely connected to her family, making her sudden disappearance all the more alarming.
The Fateful New Year's Eve
The last confirmed sighting of Erika was on Division Street in Norwich on New Year's Eve 2006. She had visited her mother's home earlier that evening, intending to participate in the downtown First Night celebrations.
