A Family's Holiday Journey
In December 2012, Roberto Muñoz, his wife Cecilia Salinas Soto, and their grandson Armando Salinas embarked on a trip from their home in Coachella, California, to Mexico to visit relatives for the holidays. The family departed on December 10, 2012, with plans to return to the United States in early January 2013. Their journey was intended to be a joyful reunion, but it soon turned into a perplexing mystery.
The Last Known Contact
The family's last known communication occurred on January 3, 2013, when they reportedly left their relatives' residence in Mexico to return home. After this date, all contact with them ceased. Family members in the United States grew increasingly concerned as days passed without any word from Roberto, Cecilia, or Armando.
