On June 17, 2023, the serene beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, became the center of a distressing event: the disappearance of 54-year-old Nolan Keith Flanagan. A resident of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Flanagan was last seen entering the Gulf of Mexico for a swim, sparking an extensive multi-agency search that, to date, has yielded no conclusive results.
The Day of Disappearance
Flanagan's family reported that around 11:30 a.m. on June 17, he entered the waters near the 400 block of East Beach Boulevard. Described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 189 pounds, with blue eyes, short brown/gray hair, and a beard, he also has a small cross tattoo on the left side of his chest. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue swim trunks, black swimming shoes, and a blue T-shirt.
