Born on September 6, 1967, Roy George Vavra was a 38-year-old resident of Gillette at the time of his disappearance. Standing six feet tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds, Roy was known for his balding brown hair and striking blue eyes. He bore several distinguishing scars: a surgical mark on his knee, a vasectomy scar, and remnants of a childhood hernia operation.
