On December 20, 2021, the city of San Antonio was shaken by the mysterious disappearance of three-year-old Lina Sardar Khil. An Afghan refugee, Lina vanished from a playground at the Villas del Cabo apartment complex, where she resided with her family. Her mother reported last seeing her between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. that day. Despite extensive search efforts by local and federal authorities, including the FBI, Lina's whereabouts remain unknown.
The Day She Disappeared
Lina was last seen wearing a red dress, black jacket, and black shoes at the apartment complex's playground. Her mother briefly left her unattended, and upon returning, discovered Lina was missing. Other adults and children were present during this time, but no one reported witnessing her disappearance.
