In the early hours of October 30, 2022, a night of celebration took a tragic turn when 23-year-old Bryce Borca vanished without a trace in Eagan, Minnesota. Despite extensive search efforts and community involvement, his disappearance remains unsolved over two years later.

The Night of Disappearance

Bryce, a young professional, spent the evening of October 29, 2022, with friends on a party bus in Stillwater, Minnesota. The group returned to Eagan around 2:08 a.m. on October 30, being dropped off near 3256 Hill Ridge Dr. by a Lyft driver. Witnesses reported that Bryce was heavily intoxicated, to the point of attempting to exit the moving vehicle. Upon arrival, he insisted on walking to his apartment at 3435 Promenade Ave., approximately a 45-minute walk. However, instead of heading east toward his residence, Bryce inexplicably walked northwest toward the Minnesota River Valley. At 2:34 a.m., he FaceTimed friends, appearing disoriented in tall grass and mentioning his phone battery was critically low. The call lasted 12 minutes before abruptly ending, and subsequent attempts to reach him went unanswered. Friends searched the area along Highway 13 but found no trace of Bryce.

Immediate Search Efforts

Later that morning, concerned friends contacted authorities, leading to an extensive search operation. Over 100 search and rescue professionals, assisted by approximately 250 volunteers, combed through more than 1,000 acres of fields, woods, marshes, and ponds near Bryce's last known location. In the months following Bryce's disappearance, the Eagan Police Department continued their efforts, collaborating with 28 different organizations and over 500 volunteers.
