Initial Disappearance
In December 2023, 46-year-old Oscar Valenzuela, a dedicated IHOP manager and long-time resident of Chicago's South Side, vanished without a trace. His last known contact was on December 12, near the 5300 block of South Hermitage Avenue in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. Family and friends grew increasingly concerned as days turned into weeks without any communication from Oscar. Described as a loving father and friend, his sudden disappearance was both alarming and out of character.
Family's Search Efforts
By March 2024, with no leads or sightings, Oscar's mother, Aida Lemos, reported him missing to the Chicago Police Department. The authorities issued a public appeal for information, highlighting Oscar's physical attributes: standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
