A Routine Day Turns Ominous
On the evening of April 29, 2024, 42-year-old Lashaunda Denise Spurlock departed her home in Society Hill, South Carolina, without informing her mother—a departure from her usual habit of keeping her family apprised of her whereabouts. Witnesses last observed her entering a red or burgundy Kia Soul with two unidentified men along Coit Chapman Lane in the Society Hill community. Shortly thereafter, her phone was turned off, and she has not been heard from since.
A Family's Growing Concern
Lashaunda's family became alarmed when she failed to return home that evening. Her sister, Shauntia Bloomfield, expressed deep concern, noting that Lashaunda, who has a learning disability, would never stay out of contact.
