Born on August 29, 1920, in Johnstown, Ohio, Kathaleen was known for her petite stature, standing at 5'3" and weighing between 110 to 120 pounds. She had brown hair and brown eyes, with distinctive features including very small feet (size four or five), a deep smallpox vaccination scar on her left upper arm, and a vertical Cesarean section scar on her abdomen.
