In the early 1990s, Christoph "Chris" Zahn, a 21-year-old Swiss-American dual citizen, embarked on an ambitious tour across the United States. His journey, however, took a tragic turn, leading to a decades-long mystery that remains unsolved.

Christoph's Arrival in Atlanta

On April 27, 1992, Christoph arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, after an overnight bus ride from Jacksonville, Florida. He checked into the American Hotel, conveniently located across the street from the bus station. The following day, April 28, at approximately 4:15 p.m., he contacted his travel agent in Orange County, Florida, from a payphone at a Denny's restaurant on Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Tucker, Georgia.
