Early Life and Career of Pam Hupp
Pamela Marie Neumann Hupp was born on October 10, 1958, in Dellwood, Missouri. Raised in a Catholic household, she was the third of four children. Her father worked for Union Electric, and her mother was a schoolteacher. After graduating from Riverview Gardens High School, Hupp held various jobs in the life insurance industry. Notably, she was fired twice for forging signatures, hinting at a pattern of deceit that would later become more pronounced in her life.
The Friendship and Murder of Betsy Faria
In 2001, Hupp moved to O'Fallon, Missouri, with her husband, Mark. It was here that she met Betsy Faria, a kind and friendly woman who also worked at a State Farm office. Their friendship deepened in 2010 when Betsy was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. Hupp became a significant presence in Betsy's life, especially during her final days.
