Travis Jeremy Wilson, a 27-year-old resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, vanished under mysterious circumstances on May 25, 2007. His last known whereabouts were at his father's home near Route 3 and Yoakum Lane, where he was seen asleep in the den during the early morning hours. When his father checked on him later that morning, Travis was gone, marking the beginning of a perplexing and unresolved missing persons case.
Discovery of the Abandoned Vehicle
Approximately three weeks after Travis's disappearance, his 1996 aqua-green Toyota Camry was discovered abandoned on a remote access road in the Fonde Mountain area of Bell County, Kentucky. The vehicle had a flat tire, and the car jack was found out of the trunk, suggesting an attempt to change the tire.
