A Routine Sunday Turns Mysterious
On Sunday, September 1, 2024, 67-year-old Jesse Carson embarked on what should have been a typical journey to his place of worship. Dressed in an all-black suit, he boarded a bus heading towards Antioch East Baptist Church in southwest Atlanta. However, unlike countless Sundays before, Jesse did not return to his home near Washington Street SW and Atlanta Avenue SW. His sudden disappearance has since left his family, friends, and church community in a state of deep concern and confusion.
Immediate Search Efforts
The alarm was raised promptly when Jesse failed to come home after the church service. Family members, led by his nephew Darrow Harper, initiated an extensive search. Harper took a week off work to scour various parts of Atlanta, distributing flyers and seeking any information that could lead to his uncle's whereabouts.
