The Initial Disappearance

On January 12, 2023, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS) was granted temporary custody of Danny'Ray. When CPS officials attempted to locate the infant and his mother at their listed residence, they were unsuccessful. This prompted the Midland County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) to initiate an investigation into the child's whereabouts. Authorities believe that Keraly abducted her son to avoid relinquishing custody, leading to a felony warrant for custodial interference issued against her on February 15, 2023.
