Background and Personal Life

Born on May 19, 1939, Byron Davis was a 53-year-old African-American man at the time he went missing. Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds, Byron was easily recognizable by the noticeable gaps between his remaining teeth, as he was missing his upper front teeth. He was mentally disabled, which contributed to his trusting and childlike demeanor.
