A Tragic Night in Old Louisville
In the early hours of July 2, 2015, a devastating fire engulfed a residence at 1133 South 2nd Street in Old Louisville. The blaze resulted in the deaths of three individuals: Florence Filatreau, 51, Theresa Shultz, 51, and John Bullock, 46. Filatreau and Shultz were pronounced dead at the scene, while Bullock succumbed to his injuries a week later in the hospital.
The Victims and Their Lives
Florence Janette Filatreau was a native of Louisville and a homemaker. She was survived by her children: Gregory McCormick, James May, Jonathan McCormick, Amber Miller, and Amanda McCormick. She was laid to rest at Mount Washington Cemetery in Mount Washington, Kentucky. ...Read More
