A Quiet Sunday in Winter Park

On August 10, 1986, Dorothy "Dotty" Davidson, a 39-year-old telecommunications employee, was last seen at her home on Lanyard Court in Winter Park, Florida. Known for her reliability, Dotty's absence from work the following day raised immediate concern among her coworkers at Southern Bell. Her twin sister, Diane, was notified and promptly reported her missing to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Troubling Discoveries at Home

Upon investigating Dotty's residence, authorities found four .25-caliber shell casings and a bullet on the floor, suggesting a possible shooting. The Enduring Mystery

Decades have passed since Dotty's disappearance, yet her case remains unresolved. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office continues to list her case among their unsolved homicides, keeping the investigation open in hopes of new leads.
