Ronnie was last seen on January 7, 1988, at his residence on Midway Ranch Road in Boulder Creek, which he shared with two roommates. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are murky, with conflicting accounts from those who last saw him.
The roommates provided varying stories about Ronnie's disappearance. At one point, they claimed he had been abducted and murdered by "biker types," a narrative that was later dismissed by one roommate as a "bad dream."
