Despite these challenges, she maintained contact with her family and frequented the Tumbleweed Runaway Center, a facility offering support to homeless and runaway youth.

It wasn't until August 20, 2018, nearly a month after her last sighting, that Shacaiah's mother, Tamera Goldsmith, reported her missing.
