On November 30, 2019, the Montana family gathered in Fresno, California, to celebrate a birthday. Luis Antonio Montana Alvarez, a 20-year-old with a bright future, joined the festivities with his loved ones. He left behind his wallet and cell phone, indicating an expected quick return. However, Luis never came back, and that evening marked the beginning of a harrowing journey for his family.

Unsatisfied with the progress of the investigation, Luis's family took matters into their own hands. His mother began searching the field herself, hoping to find any clues. In May 2022, a volunteer search group from San Diego joined the family's efforts. Their search led to the discovery of a human bone, which was confirmed by the Fresno Police Department. DNA testing was initiated to determine if the bone belonged to Luis. ...Read More
