In the early hours of November 24, 2019, 39-year-old Tabitha Ann Goins vanished under alarming circumstances in Fayetteville, North Carolina. A mother of four, Tabitha was last seen leaving a residence on NC Highway 87 South around 12:30 a.m. According to reports, she and her boyfriend, Dennis Lesesane, fled into nearby woods during a raid by the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE). Lesesane claimed that while they were running, he lost sight of Tabitha and, despite searching, could not locate her. He later sought help from a neighbor to get a ride .
Following Tabitha's disappearance, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office initiated a search in the surrounding area. Investigators discovered some of her personal belongings, including her glasses, a knife she was known to carry, and a small wallet, in the woods near the residence . Despite these findings, there was no trace of Tabitha herself. Authorities executed a search warrant at the residence she had fled from, but the investigation yielded no significant leads .
In February 2020, tensions escalated when Tabitha's estranged husband, Anthony Goins, was arrested for allegedly assaulting Dennis Lesesane. According to reports, Goins confronted Lesesane, and during their interaction, Goins attacked him with a box cutter, inflicting severe cuts on Lesesane's face and neck. Lesesane managed to drive to the Gray's Creek Fire Department for assistance and was subsequently hospitalized for his injuries . Goins was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.
Tabitha's family, particularly her father, Frank Eason, has been vocal about their belief that Lesesane knows more about her disappearance than he has disclosed. Eason expressed frustration over Lesesane's refusal to take a polygraph test and his decision to obtain legal counsel shortly after Tabitha went missing . The family has organized community searches, distributed flyers, and held vigils to keep Tabitha's case in the public eye, hoping that someone will come forward with information....Read More
