A Sudden Vanishing in the Alaskan Wilds
On September 4, 2017, Robert Edwin Collier, a 57-year-old Anchorage resident, disappeared under circumstances that remain as perplexing as they are tragic. While riding in a car with a family member, Collier requested to be let out. The relative complied, pulling over near a wooded area. Collier exited the vehicle and walked into the forest, never to be seen again. Despite immediate reporting to the Anchorage Police Department and subsequent search efforts, no trace of him has been found.
Profile of the Missing
At the time of his disappearance, Collier was described as a Caucasian male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black boots.
