A Fateful Voyage: The Disappearance of the Nettie H

On September 13, 1993, the 58-foot crab fishing vessel Nettie H vanished in the treacherous waters off Alaska's Aleutian Islands. Departing from King Cove en route to Saint Paul Island, the vessel never reached its destination. Onboard were five individuals: David Soileau, his brothers Peter and Daniel Soileau, his girlfriend Julie Mereness, and fellow crew member Blake Grinstein. The last known location of the Nettie H was approximately 10 miles north of Otter Point on Unimak Island. Despite extensive search efforts, no trace of the vessel or its crew was ever found. 

The Soileau Brothers: A Family's Tragedy

David Soileau, 29, hailed from Cottage Grove, Oregon. His brother Peter, 35, also from Cottage Grove, and their younger brother Daniel, 24, from Conyers, Georgia, joined him on the ill-fated journey.
