Raymond C. Warmuth, a 70-year-old man from Utica, New York, has a criminal history that dates back to the early 2000s. In 2003, he was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree involving a 14-year-old female victim. The offense, which occurred in 2002, led to a 12-year state prison sentence. Warmuth was designated as a Level 3 sex offender, indicating a high risk of reoffense, and was classified as a sexually violent offender. 

As part of his post-release obligations, Warmuth was required to verify his address every 90 days. However, on June 5, 2024, he was arrested in Oneida County for failing to comply with this requirement. This arrest underscored ongoing concerns about his adherence to legal obligations and his presence in the community. 

The Disappearance: A Vanishing Act in Utica

On October 17, 2024, Warmuth was last seen in Utica, New York. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes.
