A Journey Into Northern California That Never Ended
Johnson Nguyen was 32 years old when a trip from Southern California toward the remote reaches of Northern California became the beginning of an enduring missing-person mystery. Nguyen, an Asian man born on June 19, 1984, was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds. California's official missing-person record lists him as last seen on May 15, 2017, while other case information places the group's final known activity across May 15 and May 16. What is clear is that Nguyen did not disappear alone. He was traveling with three other men, and all four vanished during the same journey. Years later, Nguyen remains listed as a missing person, and the Trinity County Sheriff's Department remains the law-enforcement agency associated with his case.
The Four Men Who Left Orange County
Nguyen was traveling with Dan Nguyen, Anesi Sauta and Tony Sysavanh. Despite sharing a surname, Johnson Nguyen and Dan Nguyen were not related. Available case information describes Dan as Sauta's brother-in-law, while Johnson and Sysavanh were mutual friends. The four men left Orange County in Southern California on May 15, 2017, beginning a long drive north in a rented vehicle. Their destination was associated with Northern California and ultimately the Mad River and Trinity County area, hundreds of miles from where their journey began. The fact that four people disappeared together distinguishes the case from a typical individual missing-person investigation: investigators and families were not attempting to explain the movements of one person, but the simultaneous disappearance of an entire traveling party.

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
