The Day He Vanished

On July 23, 1998, Michael Franz, a 58‑year‑old resident of the La Paz Geropsychiatric Center in Los Angeles, attended the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California, as part of a supervised group outing. Amid the crowds and summer excitement, Michael became separated from his caretakers and fellow residents. Despite immediate efforts to locate him, there was no trace of him following his disappearance.
