On the evening of May 13, 2012—Mother’s Day—she left her residence in Waipahu at approximately 9:30 p.m., driving her 2003 gold Saturn Ion with Hawaii license plate NBN 186, intending to head to her shift. She never arrived at work and has had no known contact since.
Discovery of Her Vehicle
Four days later, on May 17, Loida’s car was found, unoccupied and secured, parked along Lehua Avenue near First Street in Pearl City—about 1½ miles from her home and well off the route to her workplace.
