Albert Joe Douglas, a 60-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas, was last seen on January 14, 2017. His family reported him missing in February after losing contact with him. Despite extensive efforts, Douglas's whereabouts remained unknown, and his body has never been recovered.

A Break in the Case: The Arrest of Officer Bryan Riser

In March 2021, a significant development occurred when Dallas Police Officer Bryan Riser was arrested and charged with two counts of capital murder. The charges were related to the deaths of Albert Douglas and Liza Saenz, a 31-year-old woman whose body was found in the Trinity River in March 2017.
