A Quiet Evening Turns Deadly

In the early hours of September 5, 2003, the tranquility of San Diego's 2900 block of Clay Avenue was shattered by gunfire. Jessyka "Bear" Talo-Lyn Brown, a 25-year-old customer representative for Luth Research, was seated on the steps of the Women's Civic Center with her boyfriend.
