A Tragic Loss: The Unsolved Murder of Stephanie Kittrell in Louisville

Introduction to a Life Cut Short

On July 8, 2017, the city of Louisville, Kentucky, was shaken by the tragic death of Stephanie F. Kittrell, a 50-year-old mother whose life was abruptly ended by gun violence. Discovered on a sidewalk in the 1200 block of West Hill Street near the Park Hill neighborhood, Stephanie had been fatally shot just days after celebrating her milestone birthday on July 4. A Family Plagued by Tragedy
