Introduction
On April 14, 2010, the Tallahassee community was shaken by the tragic death of 19-year-old Florida A&M University (FAMU) freshman, Brandon Brinson. Found with a gunshot wound near the corner of Pensacola Street and White Drive, Brandon's life was abruptly cut short, leaving his family, friends, and the university community in mourning. Despite the passage of time, his murder remains unsolved, and the quest for justice continues.
The Night of the Incident
In the early hours of April 14, 2010, at approximately 1:45 a.m., authorities discovered Brandon in a parking lot near Pensacola Street and White Drive. He was promptly transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
