Mary lived with her daughter, Jeanne M. Sevigny, and Jeanne's husband in Westford. She had previously resided in an assisted living facility in Williston, Vermont, but was asked to leave due to suicidal tendencies and confusion. On November 9, 2006, around 10:00 a.m., Mary was last seen at their residence on Cambridge Road. She appeared upset at the time. By 3:00 p.m., she was discovered missing.
