A Promising Life Cut Short

In the early hours of December 17, 2017, 15-year-old Brian Jasso was assisting his stepfather, Erik Campeano, with their routine newspaper delivery on Chicago's Southwest Side. Brian had taken on this responsibility to earn money for his sister's birthday gift and to take his girlfriend on a date. This act of familial devotion and youthful ambition was abruptly ended when Brian was fatally shot in the head during their route.
