Born and raised in Chicago, Xavier O. Joy was a young man dedicated to uplifting his community. A graduate of Whitney Young High School, Xavier's commitment to education and mentorship was evident early on. He served in City Year Chicago's AmeriCorps program, where he mentored and taught students in underprivileged areas, aiming to make a positive impact on their lives.

Academic and Athletic Pursuits at Morehouse College

Xavier's passion for both academics and athletics led him to Morehouse College in Atlanta. As a freshman in 2012, he played as a defensive back for the college's football team.
