A Fateful Evening at Judy’s Pub

On June 13, 2014, brothers David and James Barwick spent their evening at Judy’s Pub, a local establishment on Jacksonville's west side. The pub, known for its friendly atmosphere, was a regular spot for the Barwick brothers to unwind. As the clock struck 2:00 AM, the duo decided to leave on foot, embarking on the familiar route home. Unbeknownst to them, this routine walk would soon take a tragic turn.

An Unforeseen Attack

Approximately a mile into their journey, the tranquility of the early morning was shattered. David Barwick was suddenly and violently attacked, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
