A Promising Life Cut Short

In the early hours of July 31, 2006, the life of 20-year-old Obed Bellus was tragically cut short. Born on July 25, 1986, Bellus was a young man with aspirations and dreams, known for his towering height of 6 feet 2 inches and a slender build of 150 pounds. His journey, however, met a sudden and violent end on a quiet stretch of Hypoluxo Road in Boynton Beach, Florida.

The Fateful Incident

Shortly after 1 a.m., Bellus was traveling with 21-year-old Kevin Blackshear in a grey Dodge Intrepid along the 2400 block of Hypoluxo Road. Without warning, gunshots rang out, striking both men and causing their vehicle to crash. Tragically, both Bellus and Blackshear succumbed to their injuries.
