A Tragic Discovery in Northwest Jacksonville
On the morning of April 15, 2014, the tranquility of a Northwest Jacksonville neighborhood was shattered when children on their way to a school bus stop made a horrifying discovery. In the backyard of a house near Fourth Street and Clyde Drive lay the lifeless body of 17-year-old Errin "Man Man" Brooks. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) responded promptly, and upon arrival, Fire-Rescue personnel pronounced the young man dead at the scene.
The Night Before: Unreported Gunshots
Residents later recounted hearing multiple gunshots around 9:30 p.m. the previous evening. However, these reports were not made to the authorities at the time. JSO's Sgt. T.K.
