On the evening of May 28, 2017, the tranquility of Jacksonville's Westside was shattered by the sound of gunfire. Authorities responded to Newbolt Court around 8:30 p.m., discovering 35-year-old Hakeem Rashad Busch lifeless at the scene. A woman, also wounded, was found nearby and transported to the hospital for treatment.
