A Tragic Night in West Savannah
On January 20, 2011, the life of 32-year-old Curtis Hall was abruptly and violently ended in West Savannah. Found with gunshot wounds between New Castle and Comer streets, Curtis's death sent shockwaves through his family and the local community. According to his mother, Janice Hall, police informed her that an altercation had occurred, during which her son attempted to flee before being fatally shot. Despite the passage of time, the circumstances surrounding Curtis's murder remain shrouded in mystery, with no arrests made to date.
A Life Remembered
Curtis Hall was more than a victim; he was a father to five daughters and a beloved son. Janice recalls her son as someone who maintained close ties with his family, often calling her three to four times daily.
