A Night Out Turns Mysterious

On January 14, 2024, 25-year-old Marissa Kay Carmichael, a mother of five from High Point, North Carolina, vanished under perplexing circumstances. The evening began innocuously, with Marissa deciding to spend a night out in Greensboro. She visited One17 SofaBar & Lounge on North Greene Street, a popular local nightclub. Friends and family recall her being in good spirits, looking forward to a rare evening of relaxation. The Distressing 911 Call

At approximately 3:40 a.m., Marissa made a frantic call to 911 from an Exxon gas station located at 809 East Market Street in Greensboro. In the call, she expressed confusion and fear, stating, "I don't know where I am in Greensboro. I just got all my stuff thrown out the car. He took off with my phone, and I have no clue where I'm at." This alarming message indicated that she had been abandoned and robbed, leaving her stranded without her belongings.
